Interpreter Programming Language
GW-BASIC (Gee-Whiz BASIC) is a historic dialect of the BASIC programming language originally developed by Microsoft in the 1980s. As a self-contained interpreter, it allowed users to write, edit, and run programs directly from the DOS command line. It was included as a standard utility in early versions of MS-DOS.
