For shipping and receiving for the Canadian Brewer Spectrophotometer Network, we utilize the help of the shipping department at Downview.

Most if not all shipping can be handle by the shipping department at downview. They can be contacted via Warehouse.Services@ec.gc.ca for any questions. To ship something, they will require a shipping memo that can be created with the Brewer Parts software. To create a shipping memo head into the shipment tab of the software.

1. Press + to create a new line item
2. Enter in the description for the shipment
3. Pick the date for the shipping memo (Typically it is today's date)
4. Pick the person creating the shipping memo
5. Pick the person authorizing the shipment
6. Pick the admin contact
7. Pick the financial code the shipment should use
8. Pick if there is any special instructions like who to email for the tracking information
9. Pick the consignee (Who is it shipping to?)
10. Enter the number of packages/pieces
11. Enter in the description of the shipment
12. Enter the weight of the shipment (in kg)
13. Enter any additional instruction, ie Hold for pick up
14. Enter in a date if delivery date is required
15. Enter in tracking information (Put a space if no tracking information is available yet)
16. Press the √ to save
17. Press preview/export to create a pdf
