FAQ
Q: Which one is Extruder 1 vs Extruder 2
A: Extruder 1 is on the left, Extruder 2 is on the right
Q: The printer isn't starting at the right Z height, and the print head is digging into the bed/printing too high.
A: Run “_Probe Autolevel” when the hotend is at room temperature. If problem still doesn't go away, you will need to run the “First Probe” macro
Q: What needs to be done when you run the “First Probe” macro
A: Go to the web interface
- Settings –> System Editor –> Delete “heightmap.csv” and “config-override.g”.
- Press the Emergency STOP button on the top right corner.
- Once connection is reestablished, run the First Probe macro.
- When finish turn the printer off for 30 seconds and turn it back on.
Q: What software do I use to slice the files
A: Cura is a free software that can be used to slice the stl files into gcode. Artemis' profile can be downloaded at seemecnc's website
Q: How do you change the probe offset?
A: Settings –> System Edidtor –> config.g, look for line G31 P100 X0 Y0 Z0.0
Change Z#.# as required. When the number is less negative, the lower the probe is, the more negative, the higher the probe is from the bed.
